Instructions for Use
- Rinse the tester chambers with the water you want to test.
- Fill them to the mark with the water being tested (from the pool).
- Chlorine test - add DPD tablet No. 1. Do not touch the tablet with your fingers.
- pH test - add the PHENOL RED DPD tablet. Do not touch the tablet with your fingers.
- Place the cap on the test chambers and shake repeatedly.
- After a short while (once the DPD tablets have completely dissolved), compare the resulting color with the CL and pH scale.
- Recommended values: Cl - 0.5 mg/l, pH - 6.9 - 7.4.
- To determine total and free chlorine, DPD No. 3 tablets are required.
- Note: Water should be taken 20-30 cm below the surface and 20-30 cm away from the pool edge. The chlorine test shows whether there is enough chlorine in the pool to destroy bacteria and algae. The pH tester measures the pH of the water (acidity, alkalinity).
- Important: Perform the tests in the shade and early in the morning or late in the evening, before adding chemicals. Store the tester in a dark and cool place. Keep the test chambers clean and dry. At the start of a new season, always use new test solutions.
