Electric flow heaters are designed to heat water in swimming pools and hot tubs. They work by heating the water as it flows through the heating element. The heater is supplied with an adjustable thermostat with a temperature range of 0–45°C, overheat protection with a max. temperature of 60°C, and a flow switch that cuts off the power when the water flow is lower than 90 l/min.
Electric flow water heaters are specially designed in their construction for heating pool water, or water in other water circuits with flow and a temperature up to 45°C. Each heater must be installed in the electrical system behind a residual current device. We therefore recommend complementing the unit with a suitable type of automatic control. Suitable for private pools up to 100 m3.
It has a heating element made of stainless Incoloy 825 material. Incoloy 825, also known as nickel alloy 825, is an alloy of nickel, iron, and chromium with small amounts of molybdenum, copper, and titanium. This combination gives Incoloy 825 enhanced corrosion resistance in the most demanding environments. It provides resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid.

Installation Diagram
- The heater must be installed at least 200 mm below the normal water level in the pool, see example.
- The connection must be made using PVC pipes with Ø50 mm (inner Ø42 mm) with a minimum straight length of 200 mm before and after the heater.
- Install the heater horizontally so that it is completely filled with water.
- If the heater is mounted in contact with combustible material, a non-combustible board must be placed between the heater and the wall, etc.
- This board must extend 10 cm beyond the heater on all sides. The heater must not be covered.
- The installation must be carried out so that water can be drained from the heater.
- The heater is installed on the return pipe to the pool, behind the filter. Do not install any shut-off valve between the heater and the pool. If necessary, install a check valve.
- Chlorine, oxygen, etc. dosing must take place AFTER the heater to prevent corrosion.

You can ensure the proper operation and long service life of your electric heater by observing the following limit values.
Maintain water quality.- Chlorine content: max. 3.5 mg/l
- pH value: 7.2–7.6
- Alkalinity: 60–120 mg/l
- Calcium hardness: 100–300 mg/l
- Iron: max. 0.1 mg/l
- Copper: max. 0.2 mg/l
- Manganese: max. 0.05 mg/l
- Phosphorus: max. 0.01 mg/l
- Nitrates: max. 50 mg/l
- Chloride content (salt): max. 250 mg/l
Failure to comply with these values will void the product warranty.
