The electric flow-through heater is designed for heating water in swimming pools and hot tubs. It works by heating the flowing water as it passes through the heating element, with the water temperature controlled by an adjustable thermostat. The heating element is switched by a contactor, which is controlled by the thermostat mentioned above and a safety flow indicator. For this reason, the heater requires so-called “large automation” - a 24-hour filtration timer, residual current device (protection against dangerous touch voltage), motor thermal protection, contactor, and heater switch.
The EOV pool electric flow-through water heater is specially designed for heating pool water or water in other circulation systems with a flow rate and temperature up to 40 °C. The heater must be installed in the electrical system behind a residual current device. We therefore recommend equipping the unit with a suitable type of automatic control.
Every EOV electric heater:
- uses the conversion of electrical energy into heat energy
- is made of high-quality stainless steel with TITANIUM AISI 316 additive
- is made of high-quality PVC (EOVp type)
- has a heating cartridge made of stainless Incoloy 800 material with TITANIUM additive, ensuring the highest quality

- can be connected to the water circuit via a 1.5" thread, 50 mm hose, or 50 mm solvent welding
- is equipped with a thermostat up to 40 °C and a thermal fuse
- is equipped with a flow switch that monitors water flow

Principle of operation of the electric heater
When the heater is switched on, electrical energy is consumed and
the titanium coil built into the long tube starts generating heat.
The flowing water from the pool absorbs this heat and returns warmed back to the pool.
