The electric flow heater is designed for heating water in swimming pools and hot tubs. It works by heating the flowing water as it passes through the heating body, with the water temperature set by a control thermostat. The heating element is switched by a contactor, which is controlled by the thermostat mentioned above and a safety flow indicator. For this reason, the heater requires so-called “large automation” - a 24-hour filtration timer, residual current device (protection against dangerous touch voltage), motor thermal protection, contactor, and heater switch.

The EOVk pool electric flow water heater is specially designed for heating pool water or water in other water circuits with flow and temperatures up to 40 °C. The heater must be installed in the electrical system behind a residual current device. We therefore recommend supplementing the unit with a suitable type of automatic control.

Every EOVk electric heater:

uses the conversion of electrical energy into heat energy
is made of high-quality stainless steel with TITANIUM AISI 316 additive
is made of high-quality PVC (EOVp type)
has a heating cartridge made of Incoloy 800 stainless material with TITANIUM additive, ensuring top quality

EOVk is identical to the EOV type, except that water flow through the unit is detected by a flow switch

Principle of Operation of the Electric Heater

When the heater is switched on, electrical energy is consumed and
the titanium coil built into the long tube begins to generate heat.
The flowing water from the pool absorbs this heat and returns warmed back to the pool.
