Aseko Balancer is used to adjust the alkalinity of pool water. It helps reduce the consumption of pH adjustment products and increases the effectiveness of disinfectants. It is suitable for both chlorine and oxygen-based water treatment. If you have a problem with pH stability in your pool, you most likely have low water alkalinity.
Water alkalinity is the ability of water to resist a drop in pH. Too low alkalinity means that even a very small dose of pH adjustment product can cause a rapid change in pH. Too low alkalinity can cause pH fluctuations. Low pH contributes to corrosion of metal parts and causes eye irritation or green water.
Increase alkalinity carefully, as lowering it again is difficult (this can be achieved by reducing the pH to around 4, ideally using hydrochloric acid). In practice, however, it is better to dilute with fresh water. Carry out measurement and dosing mainly at the beginning of the season, when filling with new water. The appropriate amount of product can be poured directly into the water along the pool walls, or dissolved in a bucket of water and poured evenly into the pool with the filtration system running.
