Neutralizes metals contained in pool water and helps prevent stains from forming on the liner. Dose into the skimmer. The surface must be clean and dust-free before application.
For treating pool water against deposits of metal sulfides on the pool liner, we recommend ALKORPLUS chemical. Our positive experience with using this chemical has further strengthened our position in this area. Therefore, we recommend the following:
If a yellowish, brownish, hard-to-remove dirty band appears above the waterline, or brown deposits anywhere in the pool, after cleaning the filter (sludge, skimmer) apply 80 ml of ALKORPLUS per 50 m3 of water. Allow the water to circulate thoroughly for 1-2 weeks. Then reduce the amount by half and add 40 ml of the product per 50 m3 of water each week!
Removing stains from the pool liner depends on several parameters described below. In some pools, results are visible immediately; in others, it may take several weeks or even months. The stain removal process may need to be slightly accelerated by temporarily superchlorinating the water. (Of course, be careful not to bleach or fade the liner, and make sure no one swims in water containing too much chlorine!) Or, if possible, you can also apply chlorinated water behind the liner by removing the skimmer and pouring 200–300 liters of such water behind it. Warning: this method can only be used with fabric-reinforced liners, as a smooth liner (unreinforced liner) may wrinkle and crease.
