Thanks to their large surface area, plate heat exchangers are especially suitable for low-temperature heating systems such as solar systems, geothermal systems, heat pumps, and other alternative and innovative heating systems. Thanks to their design, they are suitable for both small and large pools. Bolted plate heat exchangers operate with high efficiency and low pressure losses. They deliver the best heating results when combined with a pool heat pump or solar heating. Water flow in plate heat exchangers is lower, and compared to tube heat exchangers they also have a smaller connection diameter. However, the water is heated to a higher temperature. Unlike traditional designs, a brazed heat exchanger consists only of surfaces that actively contribute to heat transfer, resulting in a significant increase in overall efficiency.
G-PWT-Ti plate heat exchangers must be installed in a vertical position. Any other position prevents sufficient water flow and proper heat exchange. The exchanger connection threads must not be subjected to any excessive pressure. If the supply piping is long and could place a load on the threads, the pipes must be supported.
By their design, heat exchangers are specially developed for heating pool water, water in hot tubs and spas, or for underfloor heating. The exchanger design is created with flow restriction in mind so as to ensure maximum heat transfer while minimizing pressure in the heating system. Titanium is one of the most durable materials, which is why these exchangers can also be used for salt water or other aggressive media.
