The D-PWT plate heat exchanger is the ideal choice for anyone who demands high efficiency when heating water. Its special plate design ensures high heating performance in a compact size and excellent efficiency for quickly heating a pool. It delivers the best heating results when combined with a pool heat pump or solar heating system. Water flow in plate heat exchangers is lower, and compared to tubular exchangers they also have a smaller connection diameter. However, the water is heated to a higher temperature. Unlike traditional designs, a brazed heat exchanger consists only of surfaces that actively contribute to heat transfer, resulting in a significant increase in overall efficiency.
D-PWT plate heat exchangers must be installed in a vertical position. Any other position prevents sufficient water flow and proper heat exchange. The exchanger connection threads must not be subjected to any excessive pressure. If the supply piping is long and could place stress on the threads, the pipes must be supported.
By their design, heat exchangers are specially developed for heating pool water, water in hot tubs and spas, or for underfloor heating. The exchanger construction is designed with flow restriction in mind so that it maximizes heat transfer while minimizing pressure in the heating system.
