Astralpool Hydrostatic Valve 

To equalize the pressure acting on the bottom of the pool, which can be caused by groundwater, it is recommended to install a hydrostatic valve and a drain pipe in the bottom drain. The hydrostatic valve helps prevent the risk of damage to the pool shell by allowing groundwater to enter the pool in sufficient volume to relieve pressure on the shell.

For screwing into the bottom drain with a 2" connection.

Made of white ABS plastic, with a stainless steel spring and screw, external thread connection 1 1/2".
