Electric flow heaters are designed for heating water in swimming pools and whirlpool baths. They work by heating the flowing water as it passes through the heating element, with the water temperature set by a control thermostat. The heating element is switched by a contactor, which is controlled by the above-mentioned thermostat and a safety flow indicator. For this reason, the heater requires so-called “large automation” - a 24-hour filtration timer, residual current device (protection against dangerous touch voltage), motor thermal protection, contactor and heater switch. The entire heating unit is made of stainless titanium material (for salt water) or plastic.
Pool electric flow water heaters EOVTi are specially designed by their construction for heating pool water or water in other water circuits with flow and temperatures up to 40°C. Each heater must be installed in the electrical system behind a residual current device. We therefore recommend supplementing the unit with a suitable type of automatic control.
