Thanks to their large surface area, plate heat exchangers are especially suitable for low-temperature heating systems such as solar systems, geothermal systems, heat pumps, and other alternative and innovative heating systems. Their design makes them suitable for both small and large pools. Brazed plate heat exchangers operate with high efficiency and low pressure losses. They deliver the best heating results when combined with a pool heat pump or solar heating. Water flow in plate heat exchangers is lower, and compared to tube heat exchangers, they also have a smaller connection diameter. However, the water is heated to a higher temperature. Unlike traditional designs, the brazed heat exchanger consists only of surfaces that actively contribute to heat transfer, resulting in a significant increase in overall efficiency.
G-PWT-VA plate heat exchangers must be installed in a vertical position. Any other position prevents sufficient water flow and perfect heat exchange. The exchanger connection threads must not be subjected to any excessive pressure. If the supply piping is long and could place a load on the threads, the pipes must be supported.
Thanks to their design, heat exchangers are specially engineered for heating pool water, water in hot tubs and spas, or for underfloor heating. The exchanger design is optimized to limit flow so as to maximize heat transfer while minimizing pressure in the heating system.
