    For bonding tensile-strength joints of pressure pipes (e.g. drinking water piping) with PVC-U fittings.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

    Shake Griffon adhesive thoroughly before use. Using a brush, apply a continuous and even layer of adhesive in the longitudinal direction to both clean and dry surfaces (apply a thinner layer at the socket and a thicker layer at the end of the pipe). Insert the pipe and fitting all the way to the stop without twisting the bonded parts, and hold for a few seconds. The bonded parts must be inserted within 4 minutes from the start of adhesive application. Temperatures above +25 °C or a thinner adhesive layer shorten the open working time. Do not mechanically load the joint for 5 minutes after bonding. At temperatures below +10 °C, this time is extended to 15 minutes. We recommend lowering the bonded piping into the trench no earlier than after 10–12 hours. Approximate calculation of the time interval before pressure testing: 1 hour per 1 bar.

    • Suitable for piping systems according to EN1329, 1452, 1453, 1455 and ISO15493 (PVC)
    • Suitable for diameters ≤ 400 mm
    • Max. 16 bar (PN 16)
    • Store the adhesive at temperatures from 5 °C to 25 °C.
