Poor water quality is often caused by an excess of nutrients in the water. As a result, substances such as phosphate and nitrates, which are usually non-toxic, can eventually harm the habitat of fish and plants. AlgoLon effectively and quickly releases active oxygen into the water. Oxidation starts immediately and destroys the cellular structure of filamentous algae. AlgoLon breaks down without leaving any residue and contains no heavy metals or organic biocides. The filter performance is enhanced by the effect of AlgoLon. The patented combination of active ingredients also kills slime algae that live in symbiosis with filamentous algae. A few hours after treatment with AlgoLon, the algae can be removed with a net. After using AlgoLon, it is advisable to apply SeDox or SeDox Speed. This binds the released phosphates, the main cause of algae growth. Regular use of AlgoLon effectively prevents the growth of new algae and creates the conditions for a healthy biological balance in the pond.
