PeriDox simply and safely improves water quality in ponds by preventing the spread and multiplication of parasites and algae. It works through a natural oxidation process. Parasites are harmful organisms that can spread on a massive scale. They can weaken fish and cause major damage to populations. As soon as PeriDox comes into contact with parasites or larvae, it triggers an oxidation process that destroys the cell structure of the parasites. The parasites die. At the recommended dosage, depending on the temperature, parasite larvae that would normally survive for 33–48 hours die after just 3 hours. However, since adult parasites release more larvae into the water, PeriDox should be applied three to four times. The oxygen released during the oxidation process dissolves directly into the water, thereby increasing the oxygen content in the water. Oxygen can become depleted especially during the warm summer months or if there is too much sludge in the pond or too many fish, which can lead to major losses.
Benefits:
Recommended dosage against filamentous algae: Evenly distribute 35 to 45 g / m2 into the water. - Use biocides professionally. - Always read the label and product information before use. - Never use more than 100 g / m3.
Recommended dosage in case of parasite infestation: KH value below 5 (acidification capacity 1.8) 35 - 45 g / m3; KH value 5-15 (acidification capacity 1.8 - 5.4) 45 - 60 g / m3; KH value above 15 (acidification capacity 5.4) 60 - 80 g / m3.
Store in a dry and cool place. Protect from frost. Keep out of reach of children. Use algicides safely.
