The cause of poor water quality is often an excess of nutrients in the water. As a result, substances such as phosphate and nitrates, which are usually non-toxic, can eventually damage the habitat of fish and plants. AlgoLon effectively and quickly releases active oxygen into the water. Oxidation starts immediately and destroys the cell structure of filamentous algae. AlgoLon breaks down without leaving any residue and contains no heavy metals or organic biocides. The filter performance is enhanced by the effect of AlgoLon. The patented active ingredient formula also kills slime algae, which live in symbiosis with filamentous algae. A few hours after treatment with AlgoLon, the algae can be removed with a net. After using AlgoLon, it is advisable to apply SeDox or SeDox Speed. This binds the released phosphates, the main cause of algae growth. Regular use of AlgoLon effectively prevents the growth of new algae and creates the conditions for a healthy biological balance in the pond.

Recommended dosage: 30 g of AlgoLon per 1000 litres (1 m3) of water. Maximum pH value: 8.5. If the pH is higher, it is recommended to use OptiLake first and only then AlgoLon. Reapply no sooner than after 3 days.
