The NORM EVO 12 kW heat pump is designed for heating smaller private pools with a volume of up to 50 m3. As part of the start-up process, NORM EVO minimizes the inrush current at switch-on to 0(A) and gradually increases it to the rated current value (approx. 2 minutes) - this prevents such a strong and rapid voltage surge, thereby better protecting the household electrical network. The principle of heat extraction in an air-source heat pump is the transfer of thermal energy from the air to the subcooled refrigerant inside the heat pump. By compressing the refrigerant with the compressor, heat is generated, which is then used to heat the pool water. The heat pump is equipped with step-inverter technology. App control.
Features:
For connection to the filtration circuit, the heat pump is supplied with fittings for gluing a 50 mm PVC pipe. Always connect the heat pump via a bypass, i.e. a three-valve bypass, so that you can regulate the water flow through the pump. At lower flow rates, heat is transferred to the pool water more efficiently.
The overall installation is not complicated - all joints are bonded together with PVC adhesive (e.g. Tangit).

Most heat escapes through the water surface, so for maximum efficiency of the heat pump, we recommend covering the pool water surface with a solar cover or slatted cover, or covering the pool with a pool enclosure.
