The NORM EVO 8 kW heat pump is designed for heating smaller private pools with a volume of up to 35 m3. During startup, NORM EVO minimizes the inrush current to 0(A) and gradually increases it to the rated current value (approx. 2 minutes) - this prevents such a strong and rapid voltage surge, providing better protection for the household electrical network. The principle behind heat extraction in an air-source heat pump is the transfer of thermal energy from the air to the subcooled refrigerant inside the heat pump. Compressing the refrigerant with the compressor generates heat, which is then used to warm the pool water. The heat pump is equipped with step-inverter technology. App control.
Features:
For connection to the filtration circuit, the heat pump is supplied with fittings for gluing into 50 mm PVC pipe. Always connect the heat pump via a bypass, i.e. a three-valve bypass, so that you can regulate the water flow through the pump. With lower flow, heat is transferred to the pool water more effectively.
The overall installation is not complicated in any way - all joints are bonded together with PVC adhesive (e.g. Tangit).

Most heat escapes through the water surface, so for maximum heat pump efficiency, we recommend covering the pool water surface with a solar cover or slatted cover, or using a pool enclosure.
