NORM EVO Heat Pump - 10 kW (R32) for Pools up to 40 m3

The NORM EVO 10 kW heat pump is designed for heating smaller private pools with a volume of up to 40 m³. During startup, NORM EVO minimizes the inrush current to 0(A) and gradually increases it to the rated current value (approx. 2 min), preventing such a strong and sudden voltage surge and better protecting the household electrical network. The principle behind air-source heat pump heating is the transfer of thermal energy from the air to the subcooled refrigerant inside the heat pump. By compressing the refrigerant with the compressor, heat is generated and used to warm the pool water. The heat pump is equipped with step-inverter technology. App control.

Connection to the Filtration Circuit

For connection to the filtration circuit, the heat pump is supplied with fittings for gluing into 50 mm PVC pipe. Always connect the heat pump via a bypass, i.e. a three-valve bypass, so you can regulate the water flow through the pump. At lower flow rates, heat is transferred to the pool water more efficiently.
The overall installation is not complicated at all - all joints are glued together with PVC adhesive (e.g. Tangit).

Most heat escapes through the water surface, so for maximum heat pump efficiency we recommend covering the pool water surface with a solar cover or slatted cover, or covering the pool with a pool enclosure.
