Filtration Unit WM300 TOP
The WM300 top filtration unit is designed for small above-ground pools. Sand filters work on the natural principle of water filtration. Water passes through a layer of sand, which traps fine dirt particles. Over time, the sand becomes clogged and needs to be backwashed, which is done using the six-way valve. By turning the valve to the backwash position, we reverse the direction of water flow and flush the trapped impurities out to waste. This process can be repeated throughout the entire service life of the sand, which is very long compared to other filtration methods.
