Complete filtration set with Preva pump, 4 m3/h, for small above-ground pools. Sand filters work on the natural principle of water filtration. Water passes through a layer of sand, which traps fine impurities. Over time, the sand becomes clogged and needs to be backwashed, which is done using the six-way valve. By turning the valve to the sand-washing position, the direction of water flow changes, flushing the trapped dirt out to waste. This process can be repeated throughout the entire service life of the sand, which is very long compared to other filtration methods.
