Millenium Top 380 mm Filtration Unit on a Pallet with Sena 7 m3/h Pump and Connecting Piping
The Millenium filtration unit can be used for water recirculation in swimming pools, ponds, spas, and whirlpools. Sand filters work on the natural principle of water filtration. Water passes through a layer of sand that traps fine impurities. Over time, the sand becomes clogged and needs to be backwashed, which is what the six-way valve is used for. By turning the valve to the sand wash position, the direction of water flow changes, flushing the trapped dirt into the waste outlet. This process can be repeated throughout the entire service life of the sand, which is very long compared to other filtration methods.
