GENSALT OT is a system that can independently generate chlorine as a percentage (salt electrolysis), just like EI2 or EI2 Expert. The GENSALT OT unit can be expanded with the optional "pH Link" module. Salt water in the pool has beneficial effects on the skin and is highly resistant to microorganisms. By using water treatment through salt decomposition, you can save on pool chemicals and the time needed for water maintenance. The salt chlorinator breaks down the salt dissolved in the pool and, using electrodes, releases gaseous chlorine, which disinfects the water. For proper system operation, it is first necessary to add salt to the pool in an amount of 5 kg per 1 m3 of water. Zodiac Gensalt alerts you to insufficient or excessive salt levels in the pool with an indicator light. Power control is manual and can be set from 10 to 100%. The unit is also equipped with a "Boost" function for an immediate increase in chlorine production for 24 hours and a "Low" function to reduce production to 10% if the pool is not being used for a while. Connection using the special "quick fix" system can be completed in 15 minutes.
Two titanium grounding units must be used, one before and one after the chlorinator. When using salt water treatment, use the UV sterilizer only with a plastic body.
Zodiac GENSALT OT 10 has IP43 protection and a maximum chlorine output of 18 g/h for private pools up to 40 m3.
