Gensalt 25 is a salt water chlorinator with IPX5 protection and a maximum chlorine output of 25 g/h for private pools up to 110 m³. This unit can be complemented with pH EXPERT or Chlorine EXPERT units, which adjust either pH or chlorine based on probe measurements.

It is necessary to use two titanium grounding units, one before and one after the chlorinator. When treating water with salt, use the UV sterilizer only with a plastic body.

Connecting the Gensalt 25 chlorinator cell using the Quick-Fix system:

The device includes a cell that connects to existing pool piping with a diameter of 50 or 63 mm using the special Quick-Fix system. This is a clamp that is simply attached to the pipe, into which only two holes are drilled. Installation takes up to 15 minutes
We recommend placing the cell in a bypass and always installing it in the filtration circuit after the filter, after any heaters and other equipment.

How does it work?

Salt water chlorinators work on a simple principle that is the same as the natural marine ecosystem.
Pool water is slightly salty, with a concentration of 4 g/l, which is nine times less than seawater.
Through electrolysis taking place in the cell, salt is converted into gaseous chlorine, which is then dissolved in the water as a disinfectant.
The active chlorine then destroys all microorganisms in the cell and also ensures a sufficient amount of free chlorine in the pool.
The active chlorine, which is eliminated by sunlight UV radiation, is continuously replenished from the cell without any further necessary intervention.

Water quality

For proper operation of the chlorinator, the pH must be maintained between 7.2 and 7.4. Balanced water (pH and alkalinity) and effective filtration adapted to the pool water volume are essential factors for good water quality. The polarity switching function operates automatically, increasing efficiency.
