The Zodiac Gensalt 10 unit produces gaseous chlorine from salt in the pool water. The chlorine produced in this way is then dosed into the pool. For the system to work properly, salt must first be added to the pool in an amount of 3 - 4 kg per 1 m3 of water. The unit is equipped with a control mechanism that alerts you during operation when more salt needs to be added to the pool.
Salt water in the pool has beneficial effects on the skin and is highly resistant to microorganisms. By using water treatment based on salt decomposition, it is possible to save on pool chemicals and the time needed for water treatment.
It is necessary to use two titanium grounding points, one before and one after the chlorinator. When using salt water treatment, use the UV sterilizer only with a plastic body.
