Tangit PVC Glue with Brush 500 g
Characteristics :

Area of use :
- For joining thermoplastic pressure piping systems made of rigid PVC (drinking water, gas) in accordance with EN 1452
- Suitable for non-pressure piping systems (wastewater drainage) in accordance with EN 1329
- For installation work and repairs (e.g. sewer pipes)
- Ideal for structural bonding of PVC sheets and tiles (e.g. catch basins, cabinets)
- Plastic piping systems for industrial applications in accordance with EN ISO 15493
Application :
- Cut the end of the pipe at a right angle, bevel the outer edge (15°) and deburr. Briefly clean and dry the surfaces to be bonded. Mark the insertion depth on the end of the pipe.
- Apply Tangit PVC-U/PVC-C/ABS Cleaner using moisture-absorbing paper towels and thoroughly clean the dry surfaces to be bonded. Use a new paper towel for each cleaning.
- Stir the Tangit adhesive before use, then apply along both sides with the brush (thin layer inside the fitting, thicker layer on the end of the pipe), join the pipe and fitting without twisting or misalignment during the open time, and hold firmly for a few seconds.
- Do not expose the bonded joint to mechanical stress for 5 minutes.
- After the final bonding, wait at least 10–12 hours before placing the pipe into the trench.
- Waiting time before commissioning and pressure testing: 24 hours for new installations, for repairs 1 hour per bar of pressure.
Warning :
- Avoid contact with open flames and sparks while working.
- Ensure good ventilation in the work area.
- Wear suitable protective clothing during work.
- Follow the instructions stated in the technical data sheet and safety data sheet.
