High-quality AQUAMAX skimmers for concrete public and private pools. They are made of ABS plastic and feature a square lid. The sealing frames for liner pools are secured with M6 stainless steel screws made of AISI 316 stainless steel. The Aquamax skimmer makes it possible to create a sleek waterline without the need for an overflow channel or balance tank.
Thanks to its special design, the water level is only 6 cm below the pool edge, compared to a classic skimmer, where it is 10 to 15 cm.

In addition to drawing off water, the skimmer’s task is to remove floating debris (e.g. leaves, insects, and other impurities) from the pool. This debris collects in the skimmer’s filter basket, which should be checked every week. For optimal performance, set the skimmer so that the pool water level reaches the middle of its opening. Slow-dissolving chemicals, such as chlorine or flocculant tablets, can be placed in the skimmer basket to avoid using a floating chemical dispenser. Most skimmers are also designed to allow pool vacuuming.
ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a thermoplastic with good impact resistance, high hardness and strength, good thermal and chemical resistance, as well as excellent noise and vibration damping. Its uniqueness lies in the combination of different materials. Acrylonitrile improves thermal and chemical resistance, butadiene increases durability and strength, and styrene improves machinability, reduces costs, and provides a glossy finish.
Stainless steel (also known as inox steel) is an alloy of steel with a higher chromium content, making it more resistant to corrosion and discoloration. Despite its name, however, it is still susceptible to rusting, especially in low-oxygen conditions, high-salt environments, or unventilated spaces. Chromium oxide forms a passive layer that prevents or slows rusting and stops it from penetrating into the inner layers of the steel.
