PVC Fitting - Coupling 75 mm x 2 1/2" , DN=75 mm, solvent weld / internal thread

The advantage of PVC fittings is easy handling, simple installation, and chemical resistance.

The PVC-U pressure fitting is suitable for piping in filtration systems for swimming ponds, pools, ornamental ponds, fish tanks, and similar applications. The coupling with internal thread is designed for transition from a threaded connection to a standard PVC pipe or flex hose with an outer diameter of 75 mm. It is most commonly used to connect equipment with a 2 1/2" external thread. Under no circumstances should the threaded connection be glued. Use Teflon tape or sealing thread to seal the joint.

Before gluing, all connections must be thoroughly cleaned. Use Tangit or Griffon. Apply a thin layer of Tangit or Griffon adhesive to both the fitting and the pipe, then press the parts together. Allow at least 5 minutes to dry. Pool adhesives cure in 10 - 12 hours.
