  • Millenium Top Filter Tank, 480 mm diameter, with 6-way valve on pallet

    The Millenium filtration system can be used for water recirculation in swimming pools, ponds, spas, and whirlpools. Sand filters work on the natural principle of water filtration. Water passes through a layer of sand, which traps fine dirt particles. Over time, the sand becomes clogged and must be backwashed, which is what the 6-way valve is used for. By turning the valve to the sand washing position, the direction of water flow changes, flushing the trapped dirt out to waste. This process can be repeated throughout the entire service life of the sand, which is very long compared to other filtration methods.
