The skimmer (surface debris collector) is used to remove contaminated pool water into the filtration system. The skimmer is a plastic, bronze, or stainless steel container built into the pool wall, or hung freely on the wall (for above-ground pools). The type of skimmer is determined by the pool construction. The recommended flow rate is 5 - 9 m3 / h. The 2" internal thread is used to connect the skimmer to 63 mm piping and hoses. For all pool types.
