Griffon WDF-05 PVC Adhesive with Brush 250 ml
Blue adhesive for PVC flexible hoses, rigid PVC pipes, sockets and fittings with tight and loose fit (gap filling) in pressure and drainage systems. Especially suitable for pools, whirlpools and applications in humid conditions. The package includes a brush for quick and easy application. Before bonding, we recommend cleaning the bonded surfaces with Griffon cleaner.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Shake the Griffon adhesive thoroughly before use. Using the brush, apply a continuous and even layer of adhesive in the longitudinal direction to both cleaned and dry surfaces (apply a thinner layer at the socket and a thicker layer at the end of the pipe). Insert the pipe and fitting all the way in without twisting the bonded parts, and hold for a few seconds. The bonded parts must be inserted within 4 minutes from the start of adhesive application. Temperatures above +25 °C or a thinner adhesive layer shorten the open working time.
SPECIFICATION:
- For joining flexible PVC and ABS and shaped bodies
- Suitable for piping systems according to EN14814
- Suitable for diameters ≤ 160 mm
- PVC max. 16.0 bar MPa (PN 16) and for ABS 5.0 bar (PN5)
- Store the adhesive at temperatures from +5 °C to +25 °C.
