Griffon UNI-100GT PVC adhesive, with brush. Designed for bonding larger diameters - slower drying.
Cut the pipe at a right angle and deburr the end (edge). You can polish glossy surfaces with a fine abrasive cloth. Clean the surfaces to be bonded with Griffon cleaner. Always use clean crepe paper for this operation. Apply the adhesive evenly and quickly in a longitudinal direction to the surface of the pipe and fitting to be bonded. Immediately, without twisting, push the pipe and fitting straight into each other and hold them in this position for a few moments. Remove any excess adhesive. After application, the adhesive sets in approx. 2 minutes. In practice, this means the adhesive can be used for diameters up to 400 mm. If the 2-minute open time is not sufficient, we recommend GRIFFON UNI - 100 GT adhesive. The adhesive cannot be used below 5 degrees Celsius. Observe the drying time and do not subject the bonded joint to mechanical stress for 10 minutes. For pressure testing, a drying time of 1 hour per bar is required (the drying time increases below 10 degrees Celsius).
