Chemoform pH Minus - a liquid product for lowering pH, suitable for automatic dosing.
What is pH?
The acidity or alkalinity of aqueous solutions is expressed by the pH value. In practice, it is enough to know that pH ranges from 1 to 14. A pH of 7 is exactly neutral. Values below 7 indicate increasing acidity, while values above 7 indicate alkalinity.
The ideal value for swimming pools is 6.9 - 7.4. A pH higher than 7.4 leads to the formation of various mineral cloudiness, limescale, and other deposits. A pH lower than 6.9 causes corrosion of metal surfaces. The pH value affects the solubility and effectiveness of the disinfecting products used.
We recommend using an automatic dosing unit, which continuously regulates pH values. The dosing device can be connected directly to the product container. The liquid product is chlorine-free, non-corrosive, and not suitable for pools without a pH measuring probe. For manual dosing, always pour water into a suitable container first, then add the measured amount of pH Minus. Never the other way around! Pour the solution slowly along the pool walls. Never mix with other chemicals.
15 g per 1 m3 of pool water lowers the pH value by 0.2.
We recommend using an automatic dosing unit, which continuously regulates pH values. The dosed amount is controlled by an automatic regulating and dosing device according to the actual pH value in the pool.
