    We recommend using an automatic dosing unit, which continuously regulates pH levels. The dosed amount is controlled by an automatic regulating and dosing device according to the actual pH value in the pool.

    What is pH?

    The acidity or alkalinity of aqueous solutions is expressed by the pH value. In practice, it is enough to know that pH ranges from 1 to 14. pH = 7 means the solution is exactly neutral. Values below 7 indicate increasing acidity, while values above 7 indicate alkalinity.

    The ideal range for pools is 6.9 - 7.4. A pH higher than 7.4 leads to the formation of various mineral cloudiness, limescale, and other deposits. A pH lower than 6.9 causes corrosion of metal surfaces. The pH value affects the solubility and effectiveness of the disinfecting products used.
