Aseko Ventil BESGO - 5-way backwash valve Ø50 mm, connection spacing 190 mm
The BESGO valve is a pneumatic valve designed for backwashing the filter tank (5-way design). The valve is actuated, i.e. opened, by water pressure from the line or by means of an air compressor. It closes automatically again using a spring.
A major advantage of these valves is maximum operational safety; the position can be changed even while the filter pump is running, although it is always better and safer to operate the valve without water flow. BESGO valves can be used as an alternative to a 6-way valve.
In the event of a power failure, the valve automatically returns to the "FILTERING" position, so there is no risk of it getting stuck in an intermediate position or of accidental water drainage from the pool, as can happen in the case of mechanical damage to automatic 6-way valves.
