The solenoid valve is an electrically actuated valve typically used to shut off the flow of water, steam, or aqueous solutions. Valve 6281 is a servo-controlled diaphragm valve from the S.EV design series. For proper operation, a minimum differential pressure between the inlet and outlet is required to ensure optimal opening and closing of the diaphragm. This differential pressure is especially important in flow control applications where precision and fast response are required.
The standard brass body meets all European requirements for drinking water. For more specific requirements, a version made of dezincification-resistant brass is also available, as well as a stainless steel version for more demanding environments. The valve is controlled by a solenoid coil, which can be equipped with modern Kick-and-Drop (KD) electronics. This technology significantly reduces energy consumption during operation without compromising switching speed or reliability. In addition, the coils are designed to withstand vibrations, which increases their service life and operational safety. Optionally, the valve can be equipped with manual override, which makes servicing and commissioning easier.
