The solenoid valve is a directly operated valve designed for reliable closing or opening of liquid flow in various technical applications. It works on the principle of electromagnetic control and does not require any minimum differential pressure, making it an ideal solution for low-pressure or gravity-fed systems. The valve is available in normally closed or normally open versions, depending on the application requirements. The BESGO electromagnetic control solenoid valve receives an electrical signal and opens/closes based on the incoming signal, thereby changing the pressure in the valve. The pressure compresses the spring inside the valve and starts the filter backwash process. The backwash process lasts as long as it is set on the Asin Aqua device. In the event of a power failure, the BESGO valve automatically returns to (remains in) the "Filtration" position, preventing unintended draining of the pool. Thanks to its simple and robust design, it is ideal for use in automation systems, cooling circuits, dosing units, or water top-up systems. Its compact dimensions allow installation even in confined spaces, and its low power consumption reduces operating costs.
The valve body is standardly made of high-quality brass that complies with European standards for contact with drinking water. For more demanding chemical or industrial applications, a stainless steel version is available, or a dezincification-resistant version. The diaphragm and sealing elements are available in various materials (e.g. FKM, EPDM, PTFE), depending on the type of medium. The valve coils are designed for long-term operation and high mechanical durability. For increased safety, the valve can be equipped with IP65 protection and a DIN EN 175301-803 connector. The coils are encapsulated in epoxy resin or polyamide, which increases their chemical and mechanical resistance.
