The advantage of PVC fittings is easy handling, simple installation, and chemical resistance.

A pool PVC coupling – socket is used to connect a PVC pipe or flexible hose. The pipes are glued inside the coupling. Do not glue the pipes to the outside of the coupling. It is not 100% straight, and the joints will not seal properly. Before gluing, all joints must be thoroughly cleaned. For cleaning, use Tangit or Griffon. Apply a thin layer of adhesive Tangit or Griffon to both the coupling and the pipe, then press the joints together. Allow at least 5 minutes to dry. Pool adhesives cure in 10–12 hours.
