PVC Fitting - 45° Elbow DN=50 mm internal x d=50 mm external, solvent weld / solvent weld

The advantage of PVC fittings is easy handling, simple installation, and the chemical resistance of the fittings.

Before gluing, all joints must be thoroughly cleaned. For cleaning, use Tangit or Griffon. Apply a thin layer of Tangit or Griffon adhesive to both the elbow and the pipe, then press the joints together. Leave it undisturbed for 5 minutes. Pool adhesives cure in 10 - 12 hours.
Use the 45° reduced pool elbow when you need to transition from a 40 mm pool pipe to a 50 mm diameter. The elbow has an internal socket on one side for bonding a standard 50 mm pool pipe, and on the other side an internal circumference for bonding a 40 mm pipe. You can also use the elbow to bond a standard 50 mm pipe on one side and, on the other side, an external circumference for bonding a PVC fitting with DN=50 mm.
