The Speck Badu Picco II / 5 is a compact and reliable single-stage pool pump designed primarily for water circulation and filtration in smaller pools and above-ground pools. Thanks to its compact design, easy installation, and dependable performance, it is a practical solution for home pool systems where efficient filtration, simple operation, and trouble-free performance throughout the swimming season are essential. The pump is equipped with an asynchronous single-phase motor with a P2 output of 0.20 kW and 230 V power supply. The pump design is engineered to ensure stable water circulation and reliable supply to the pool filtration system. The Badu Picco II / 5 is a self-priming pump, which makes it easier to start up the filtration system. Water intake is handled by a combination of a hermetically sealed suction chamber and an integrated prefilter with a filter basket. This captures larger debris such as leaves, grass, or other solid particles, while also helping protect the hydraulic section of the pump from damage. Efficient water circulation is provided by an impeller made of durable PA 66 GF 30/PC material. Its design allows it to generate the necessary pressure to move water through the filtration unit and back into the pool. An important part of the pump is also the mechanical bellows seal, which ensures separation between the pool water and the electric motor. This contributes to safe and long-term reliable operation of the entire unit. The pump housing is made of durable polypropylene and is designed for everyday use in pool technology. The electrical section has an IPX5 rating, and the motor is equipped with integrated thermal protection. In the event of excessive overheating, the motor is automatically disconnected, reducing the risk of damage. The pump connection is adapted to standard hose systems used with smaller pools. On the suction side, Ø38 mm connection can be used, while on the discharge side, Ø32 or Ø38 mm connection is possible. The pump is supplied with a power cable and plug, which makes installation and commissioning easier without the need for complex electrical wiring. Installation max. 1.5 m above or max. 3 m below water level.
