Algoshield effectively combats rapid growth and excessive proliferation of green algae. It is also highly effective in preventing and removing blue-green algae. Poor water quality is often caused by an excess of nutrients in the water. As a result, substances such as phosphate and nitrates, which are usually non-toxic, can eventually harm the habitat of fish and plants. Algoshield effectively combats green and blue-green algae without the use of chemicals. Thanks to its beneficial combination of active ingredients, it keeps algae and the harmful effects of their metabolism under control and supports biological and chemical balance. Recommended dosage: In the initial stage of algae development, as well as for preventive treatment: 50 ml of Algoshield per 1000 liters (= 1 m3) of pond water. We recommend a follow-up dose after two to three weeks (50 ml of Algoshield per 1000 liters of pond water) to increase effectiveness.
