  • Microwell HP 1500 Silver Inverter Pro Split Heat Pump 15.6 kW with Cooling, for up to 65 m3

The MICROWELL HP SILVER Inverter Pro range comes in an anodized aluminum housing, is extremely quiet at 36 dB, and blows air to the left and right sides. It features fully inverter technology with speed control, photovoltaic connection, smart home integration via Modbus or WiFi. The HP SILVER Inverter Pro pump is ready to heat your outdoor or indoor pool even at air temperatures down to -20 °C, making it suitable for year-round use.

     What is SPLIT?

A pool heat pump is commonly supplied in a STANDARD version, which means that all technology is built into the unit. Pool water flows directly through the heat pump, where it is heated.

In the SPLIT version, the heat exchanger through which the pool water flows is supplied separately and independently from the heat pump. This solution offers advantages that are worthwhile in many installations.

The heat exchanger is installed in the technical room together with the rest of the pool technology, such as filtration and water disinfection. Pool water flows through the exchanger and returns to the pool heated. Copper insulated Cu piping runs from the exchanger to the heat pump, carrying gas (R32 refrigerant). This refrigerant circuit is driven by the compressor in the heat pump. Thanks to the small pipe diameter and high pressure, the heat pump can be placed up to 30 m from the pool technology and 15 m in height without significant heat loss.

In principle, it works on the same principle used in air conditioners, which also have an indoor and outdoor unit.

MAIN ADVANTAGES OF THE SPLIT VERSION

    1) NO RISK OF WATER FREEZING IN THE HEAT EXCHANGER

It often happens that the user forgets to drain the water from the heat pump when winterizing the pool. As soon as the first frost arrives, the water in the exchanger freezes and damages it. With the split solution, freezing is not a risk because the exchanger is located in a frost-free technical room.

    2) IDEAL FOR YEAR-ROUND OPERATION OF AN INDOOR POOL

All indoor pool technology is located in a frost-free environment. That is why it is ideal to use a split heat pump, where the pool water does not leave the technical room. This reduces heat loss in the piping and prevents water from freezing, for example during a power outage.
From spring to autumn, you benefit from the heat pump’s high COP efficiency and heating costs are negligible. In winter, efficiency is lower, but thanks to the low heat loss of indoor pools, the pump will still maintain your desired temperature effectively. A properly designed pump will ensure 30 °C water even at an outdoor temperature of -20 °C.

    3) THE PUMP DOES NOT HAVE TO BE CLOSE TO THE POOL

With the standard version, the pump should be placed as close as possible to the pool technology to ensure sufficient pressure in the filtration circuit and also to minimize heat loss in the piping. With the SPLIT version, the outdoor unit can be placed up to 30 m away from the technical room and 15 m vertically, for example on the roof or behind the house, where it is out of sight.

This means the pump does not disturb the aesthetics of the relaxation area near the pool, nor does it bother you with noise or cold exhaust air.

    EFFICIENT AND RELIABLE

Reliable, highly efficient operation without compromise. Thanks to the latest FULL INVERTER technology, we are reaching the limits of what is physically possible. In summer months, the pump achieves a COP of up to 24.2. Average stable SCOP is 9.

YOU CAN TELL THE QUALITY IN COLD WEATHER:

Thanks to in-house development and experience with operation in winter conditions, the pump includes precise internal insulation and anti-freeze protection, ensuring smooth operation down to -20 °C air temperature. These features also make a difference during normal spring and autumn weather around +10 °C, where the differences between average and top-tier pumps become clearly visible.

    EXTREMELY QUIET AND SPACE-SAVING:

We chose rear air intake with side exhaust for maximum comfort in the area in front of the heat pump. This allows you to place a relaxation zone or seating area directly in front of the pump, which is a great solution for pool surroundings with limited space. The overall noise level is very low at 36 dB. In addition, the sound travels in the direction of airflow, so it is even quieter from the front.

    MAXIMUM DURABILITY:

All our heat pumps feature a titanium exchanger for operation in saltwater pools. The premium GoldFin coating on the evaporator offers higher corrosion resistance and lower adhesion, so it transfers heat better and freezes less in cold weather.

    LUXURIOUS LOOK:

The pump is made of high-quality anodized aluminum in a dark silver finish. The electrical connection is on the rear side, and the Cu piping connection for the external heat exchanger is on the right side.

    HEATING AND COOLING:

Today, every good heat pump can both heat and cool. The HP SILVER pump can heat water up to +40 °C and cool water down to +7 °C, which can also be used for cooling plunge pools in both private and commercial operation.

    CONTROL:

The HP SILVER range offers all currently available control options:
The built-in front-mounted controller is simple and intuitive. The controller can also be placed outside the unit, for example in the technical room (optional accessory).
The controller includes WiFi, allowing remote control via a mobile app. You can monitor the unit status and temperature, and adjust everything remotely.
The pump has a DRY contact for external master switching. If you have an automatic pool control unit, you can use it to switch the heat pump on and off.

The pump controls the filtration circulation pump. The heat pump can switch the filtration pump even outside the set filtration cycles, allowing more precise water temperature control and maximum use of inverter technology.
The pump has an RS-485 output with Modbus protocol, enabling full integration into a smart home system. You can simply choose the parameters you want to integrate into your smart home, such as temperature setting, timer, heating/cooling switching, or power mode settings.

The pump is PV READY, meaning it includes smart connection to your photovoltaic power system. This allows you to set whether you want to heat only with surplus energy, for example, or give pool heating priority.

    YEAR-ROUND OPERATION:

The pump features the latest technology capable of operating down to -20 °C, so it is ready for year-round use and, with the right output selected, can maintain +30 °C in the pool even at an outdoor temperature of -20 °C.

The lowest possible maintenance temperature in the pool for heat pump operation in winter is +15 °C.

HP SILVER is also the right choice if you are not considering winter operation. Its high COP efficiency already shows at +5 °C or +15 °C air temperature, which is typical seasonal operation. If you want the best, choose HP SILVER.

If you are considering year-round heat pump operation, the split version is ideal because there is no risk of the heat exchanger freezing, as explained at the beginning of the description.

    WHAT OUTPUT DO I NEED:

A pool heat pump serves different expectations. We approach each customer individually to avoid recommending a pump that is too weak or, on the contrary, unnecessarily powerful. The table clarifies what the pump can handle for different pool volumes. If you are still unsure which model is suitable, please do not hesitate to contact us.

A deposit is required for binding order processing, and it is non-refundable.

    What is COP?

From the English term Coefficient of Performance. COP determines the efficiency of a heat pump, i.e. how much output (kW) the heat pump delivers to the heating system (pool) for 1 kW of input. The higher this factor (coefficient), the less electrical energy the heat pump consumes.
