With the HydroEco system, you fill your pool once and never have to drain it again. Without affecting water quality. Without wasting natural resources.
HydroEco from Compass - a pool without winterization - is a pool system that does not require draining the pool water for winter. In winter, we let the water freeze on the surface, and because our pool is concave (it widens toward the top), it will not be damaged. This also makes it suitable for skating and other winter fun. Of course, all safety guidelines must be followed.
During winter, the pool remains filled. A device is installed by the pool that monitors the water temperature and, thanks to controlled water circulation in the pool, ensures that the water does not freeze. Before installing HydroEco, the water must be adjusted to the required parameters, and its quality must be monitored throughout the winter. An ice layer may form on the pool surface – this applies ONLY to ceramic pools, which are designed so that the ice pressure does not threaten the pool walls. The pool is conical, and the resulting buoyancy pushes the “ice crust” upward.
With proper and regular care, the water in the pool can last for years without replacement and remain in good condition. It will not deteriorate even after years. Thorough monitoring of water quality in every aspect is the foundation of a well-maintained pool. Even water temperature has a major impact on the quality of the pool surface. That is why some pool manufacturers limit their pool warranty to water temperatures up to 28 degrees. Their surface cannot withstand higher water temperatures.
The water in the pool is naturally renewed by rainfall. The total volume of water in a pool, e.g. with an area of 4 x 8 m, is replaced every 1.5–2 years, depending on the amount of rainfall.
