    Underlay geotextile serves as protection against tearing of the pond liner and is suitable as a base under stones along the edge of the pond.

    • a truly thick geotextile for extreme loads or very poor subsoil, e.g. rocky ground, lots of roots, sharp edges ...
    • used as a protective underlay not only under pond liners
    • in shallow areas, it is also used on top of the liner when placing stones or gravel there. If the stones are large and heavy, we recommend laying several layers of geotextile on top of each other to create a soft base so the stones do not damage the liner
    • when installing, add 5% extra for overlaps
    • the recommended overlap at the joints is 5 cm
    • if needed, individual strips can be heat-welded using a hot air gun (never use an open flame!). We recommend leaving this to professionals
