The Vesubio filter is made of polyester laminate reinforced with fiberglass in red. It is equipped with a pressure gauge, a manual air release valve, and a top lid. The base is made of black polypropylene. Filtration is part of the overall treatment of pool water. This means that the filtration system itself, without proper chemical water treatment, cannot ensure the required water parameters. Likewise, chemical water treatment alone is not sufficient without filtration.
Filter media is not included.

Filtration PrincipleWater is drawn by the pump from the bottom of the pool through the pool drain (1) and from the surface of the pool through skimmers/collectors (2), via the valve (3) into the filter (5), where it is cleaned. It is then pushed back into the pool through the recirculation nozzles (6). The nozzles are located on the opposite side from where the bottom drain and skimmers are installed. The filter itself contains a sand media, which traps insoluble impurities contained in the water. After a certain period of filtration, the sand becomes clogged and less permeable to water. It is therefore necessary to backwash the sand. Backwashing or rinsing is carried out by directing water into the filter in the opposite direction to the filtration process. |
