The Kit Roma filtration unit can be used for water circulation in swimming pools, ponds, spas, and whirlpools. Sand filters work on the natural principle of water filtration. Water passes through a layer of sand that traps fine impurities. Over time, the sand becomes clogged and needs to be backwashed, which is what the six-way valve is used for. By turning the valve to the sand washing position, we reverse the direction of water flow and flush the trapped dirt into the waste line. This process can be repeated throughout the entire service life of the sand, which is very long compared to other filtration methods. The Kit Roma 600 filtration unit is supplied disassembled. It must be assembled before connecting to the pool. Installation and commissioning are easy. The filtration unit can be connected to the pool circuit by gluing it to PVC pipes or flexible hoses with a diameter of 50 mm.
