Filter Tank MIDI 600, Six-Way Valve, Czech Description for Six-Way Valve
The MIDI 600 filter tank is made of injection-molded thermoplastic material and welded using the most advanced welding technology. It has a transparent top lid and is equipped with a pressure gauge; the six-way valve is located on the side of the tank. Sand filters work on the natural principle of water filtration. Water passes through the layer of sand, which traps fine dirt particles. Over time, the sand becomes clogged and needs to be backwashed, which is what the six-way valve is used for. By turning the valve to the sand wash position, we reverse the direction of water flow and flush the trapped dirt out to waste. This process can be repeated throughout the entire service life of the sand, which is very long compared to other filtration methods.
