Azur 380 Filter Tank with 6-Way Valve on Base
The Azur filtration unit can be used for water recirculation in swimming pools, ponds, spas, and whirlpools. Sand filters work on the natural principle of water filtration. Water passes through a layer of sand, which traps fine dirt particles. Over time, the sand becomes clogged and needs to be backwashed, which is what the 6-way valve is used for. By turning the valve to the sand wash position, we reverse the direction of water flow and flush the trapped dirt into the waste line. This process can be repeated throughout the entire service life of the sand, which is very long compared to other filtration methods.
