  • AstralPool CTX-570 - Non-Foaming Algaecide 5 l

    Non-foaming preventive algaecide with bactericidal effect, especially suitable for pools with counter-current systems. It acts quickly against bacteria, algae, and fungal cultures. The solution contains 7–10% alkyl benzyl dimethyl ammonium chloride.

    Benefits: 

    • Highly effective against all types of algae (green, black, mustard) at a low product concentration,
    • Reduces Cl consumption
    • Does not cause foaming
    • Compatible with most disinfecting products
    • Helps flocculants settle dead algae and other impurities
    • Reduces possible water odor.
    • Suitable for all types of filtration

    Instructions for Use

    • Initial dose: 2 liters per 100 m3 of water. 
    • Maintenance dose: 0.5 liters per 100 m3 / week.

    The initial dose must be repeated whenever the water loses its clarity. During application and for the following 8 hours, no one may be present in the pool. Since dosing disinfecting chlorine products does not sufficiently prevent algae growth, algaecides are used (products against algae). These products prevent algae from forming on the walls and bottom of the pool, on stair steps, and so on.
