Granulated product for treating pool water (pH+).
What is pH?
The acidity or alkalinity of water solutions is expressed by the pH value. In practice, it is enough to know that pH ranges from 1 to 14. A pH of 7 is perfectly neutral. Values below 7 indicate increasing acidity, while values above 7 indicate alkalinity.
The ideal range for swimming pools is 7.2 - 7.6. A pH higher than 7.6 leads to the formation of various mineral cloudiness, limescale, and other deposits. A pH lower than 7.2 causes corrosion of metal surfaces. The pH value affects the solubility and effectiveness of the disinfectants used.
First, pour the required amount of granules into a container of water, mix well, and then pour the resulting solution along the pool walls. After a few hours, measure the pH value using a tester and, if necessary, repeat the procedure. Always add the granules to water, never the other way around. Never mix with other chemicals.
1.5 kg will increase pH by 0.2 pH in 100 m3 of water. The dosage is approximate; the exact amount depends on the operating conditions of the pool.
Mix the required amount of CTX-10 with water in a larger plastic container and pour the solution evenly over the pool surface. Then start your filtration system and let the water filter for 8 hours.
