This granulated active oxygen-based product is designed for the disinfection and maintenance of pool water. The product contains 98% potassium persulfate. Water treated with CTX-100 / GR has no unpleasant chlorine odor and does not irritate the eyes. When CTX-100gr dissolves in water, strong oxidation occurs, which is capable of eliminating organic substances, harmful microorganisms present in the water, as well as chloramines (combined chlorine). Water treated with active oxygen does not dry out the skin or hair. For proper function, it is necessary to supplement CTX-100 / GR with CTX-540 (microbicides)!
Instructions for Use and Dosage
- Initial dosage: 20 g of CTX-100 / GR per 1 m3 of water
- Subsequent dosage: 10 g of CTX-100 / GR per 1 m3 of water / week
The initial dosage must be repeated at the first signs of cloudy water. Mix the required amount of product with water in a larger plastic container and pour the solution evenly over the pool surface. Apply the product when no swimmers are present in the pool, preferably in the early evening. Run the filtration system for approximately 2 hours. Then check the active oxygen level in the water using a test kit. If the active oxygen content is more than 1 g / m3, it is necessary to wait and use the pool only after the level drops below the stated amount. Unlike chlorine, active oxygen does not combine with organic nitrogen, which forms undesirable chloramines that irritate the eyes and mucous membranes; however, it is fully compatible with chlorine.
